Kitchen Design Process
Initial consultation
I will undertake a full and detailed site survey of the kitchen area (if the space exists) or, if the space is yet to be built/extended, I can then work with the architect’s plans/dwg file. In either case, this will consist of an initial design meeting where we will discuss all relevant information regarding your kitchen design including the layout, appliance specifications, utility room, living areas adjacent to the kitchen and, most importantly, your wish list.

Engagement
Once the floorplan and costings have been agreed, we can take the process to the next stage. I will then prepare all CAD design drawings, 3D visuals, technical drawings for the joinery and service drawings (plumbing & electrics) for your builder. All design meetings and site surveys are included in my fee and I can advise you on all aspects of the project, from appliances and worktops to room colours, lighting and flooring.
Drawing/design process
Once you have engaged me I will also set out the timing for the design process and, together, we will tie up all the finer details of your project. I can also liaise with the necessary parties (architect, builder, joinery, interior designer) to ensure the smooth running of your installation, through to satisfactory completion.
